  Appeared in 18 games this season, averaging 1.6 points and 0.9 rebounds per game… Scored her first three collegiate points at the charity stripe in the Lamar rematch (Dec. 2)… Mustered three points and two rebounds in A&M’s road win over Little Rock (Dec. 10)… Made her first collegiate three-pointer in the win against Abilene Christian (Dec. 13)… Registered four points, two rebounds, a block and a steal against Sam Houston State (Dec. 15)… Scored a career-high eight points thanks to two made three-pointers, adding two rebounds and an assist in the historic blowout of Northwestern State (Dec. 28)… Stood out in her SEC regular season debut, finishing with five points on 2-for-3 shooting to go along with a pair of rebounds against Florida (Jan. 3)… Made nine appearances in the SEC regular season and earned her first postseason appearance in the SEC Tournament Quarterfinals against LSU.

  Selected by ESPN W HoopGurlz as a four-star recruit coming out of high school, ranking her as the No. 20 guard and No. 75 player overall… As a freshman, helped form Veteran’s Memorial High School’s first girls basketball team, leading the Patriots to two appearances in the state championship game in her final three years… Named the San Antonio Express-News Girl’s Player of the Year in 2020 after averaging 23.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game… Awarded District 26-5A MVP her senior year… Earned a spot on the 2020 UIL 5A All-Tournament Team… Secured a place on the 2020 TABC All-State Team.

  Coach JC has put forth some of his best skill training with Sahara since she was very young. Her scoring skills, court awareness, and defensive skills are very good. The NGSA program will be looking forward to seeing Sahara achieve her goals at Texas A & M this coming year. .
